With redevelopment works underway at the Port of Galveston to accommodate a new cruise ship terminal, both our ocean operations and equipment processing centre (EPC) recently moved locations.

After months of careful coordination, we’re now working from our new home, approximately two miles from our previous location. The area offers like-for-like services for our customers spread over an increased 8-acre footprint. Situated at Pier 39, the gate is conveniently located for picking up and dropping off products by truck, while rail access is also available.

In addition, our new EPC is now in operation, and is fully activated for Foreign-Trade Zone use.

“Ensuring the move involved minimal disruption to customers has been our main priority and our team has been working non-stop in an effort to ensure the movement of cargo from the existing terminal and EPC to our new location was a smooth process,” says Mike Derby, senior vice president of port, terminal and stevedoring operations Americas. ”As we continue to work through this period of transition, we want to thank our customers for their ongoing support.”
