Commodity prices are a key driver for mining equipment demand as they directly impact mine profitability. Following several years of declining commodity prices from 2013 to 2016, most commodity prices have recovered and remained at investable levels. While miners have kept generating strong cashflow in recent years, capital allocation remains disciplined. Macroeconomic uncertainty has negatively impacted new equipment sales and tilted many miners’ investment decisions in favor of refurbishment and relocation of their equipment fleets. After several years of recovering double-digit growth, global mining equipment sales are expected to slow down to single digits in 2020.

We understand these challenges and can accommodate a wide variety of mining equipment – from drilling rigs and mine roof supports to conveyor belts and earthmoving equipment. Combining our inland logistics services with reliable and stable ocean transportation, provides the flexibility you need to meet your customers’ expectations for on-time delivery.

Do you need ocean transportation services?

Our global network reach, local knowledge, expertise in ports worldwide, and high frequency liner services, provides you with safe and smart ocean transportation at the lowest total transport cost.

We transport all types of rolling mining equipment by loading and discharging via a stern ramp onto the vessel. This is a secure and efficient process that ensures safe handling regardless of weather conditions.

Our service is not only limited to rolling units. Our experienced staff around the world can handle your non-rolling units on innovative equipment solutions that minimise lifting and ensure a smooth voyage to the desired destination.
