High and heavy processing in Baltimore

Construction

By offering tailored shipping and logistics solutions for construction equipment, whether as built-up or knocked-down units, we can meet the complex needs of our customers.

General economic development, and more specifically investments in residential, non-residential and infrastructure projects, both private and public, are key drivers in the demand for construction equipment. In the coming years, global construction equipment sales are expected to soften but remain relatively close to the historically high volumes reached in 2018.

We accommodate a wide variety of construction equipment – from cranes, excavators and pavers, to bulldozers and dump trucks. Combining our inland logistics services with reliable and stable ocean transportation, provides the flexibility you need to meet your customers’ expectations for on-time delivery.

Do you need ocean transportation services?

Our global network reach, local knowledge, expertise in ports worldwide, and high frequency liner services provides you with safe and smart ocean transportation at the lowest total transport cost.

We transport all types of rolling construction equipment by loading and discharging via a stern ramp onto the vessel. This is a secure and efficient process that ensures safe handling regardless of weather conditions.

Our service is not only limited to rolling units. Our experienced staff around the world can handle your non-rolling units on innovative equipment solutions that minimise lifting and ensure a smooth voyage to the desired destination.

This equipment is typically used for generators, transformers, rotors and heavy steam drums.
