Starting in 2020 a .50% sulphur cap on marine fuel comes into force, bringing tremendous public benefits but also cost increases. We believe full and effective enforcement is best for the public, the environment and the industry – that's why we've joined the Trident Alliance.

The Trident Alliance is a coalition of shipping owners and operators who share a common interest in effective enforcement of maritime sulphur regulations and are willing to collaborate to help bring it about. The Alliance also partners with other stakeholders who share a similar interest.

Since 2014, the Trident Alliance has worked to build awareness of the need for effective enforcement of marine sulphur regulations to protect public and environmental health, and maintain fair competition.
