On the ocean
Oceania import, export and coastal service remain in place, with the number of sailings offered reflective of the current market environment.
Bills of lading: We encourage customers to take advantage of Express Release Bills of Lading in lieu of Original Bills of Lading (OBL), as the electronic process will help expedite the release of your cargo at destination. While we continue to support OBL’s, printing and sending original documentation maybe delayed.
In ports and terminals
All ports called by WW Ocean vessels in Oceania (Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia and Tahiti) are open and operating with strict Covid-19 safety measures in place for each respective port and/or terminal. The measures in place are aligned with national and/ or state government authorities where applicable.
MIRRAT: Our terminal in Melbourne is open and operational. We continue to take a precautionary approach to safeguard the health and safety of our employees, terminal users, business partners and members of the public, whilst striving to minimise operational impact. As a result, all visitors to the terminal will be required to complete a short questionnaire.
At our equipment processing centres
Operations: We are maintaining our processing services and all our sites are fully operational. We continue to uphold precautionary measures to ensure the safety of all on site.
Site Visits: We ask that you only request to visit a site for business-critical purposes to ensure the health and safety of you and our staff. New measures have been implemented for all visitors, and this includes compulsory temperature testing, masks and a questionnaire.
We continue to maintain our inland distribution services for customers unaffected by Covid-19. Local supply chain requirements have felt some impact in the trucking segment, with demand reducing.
At our offices
Australia and New Zealand: With the current easing of restrictions, employees are commencing a flexible return to office locations.
All operational WW Ocean staff across Australia and New Zealand are attending vessels as per normal albeit with additional Covid-19 safety measures in place to ensure the safety of employees, stevedores and crew.
